One of the pipers who heralded the arrival of Henry VIII and Oliver Cromwell (who I am sure weren't contemporaries ) on the Lowestoft History Day a few weeks ago.

The Piper was getting lonely on this page so I am posting a picture of Southwold Pier just so she has got something to look at...

Thanks Adam and Pirate for your kind words, must admit after converting two bad colour pictures into B/W I was pleased with the final result, glad I didn't delete straight away

And already the days have begun to lengthen a little... I'm fed up with the Winter gloom now, roll on springtime.
A tiny little metal dog I saw in a glimmer of winter sunshine. |

I have quite a good relationship with my kitchen and get on alright with it, in fact I get on alright with most of the rooms in my house, except for maybe the cupboard under the stairs, the walls feel as though they are pressing in on me and the sloping ceiling is always cracking my head _________________ To write with a broken pencil...is pointless. |

LOL!
I've been slowly falling out with my kitchen, so my Dad and I have decided to rip it out and start again.
Although we're not officially starting the job until after half term, some "minor" electrical issues have been causing us a few crossed wires and the odd short fuse....
When I close my eyes really tightly I can just make out my vision of a warm shaker style kitchen, but I think there may be a few more weekends of brick rubble on toast, for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! _________________

I had the opportunity to photograph the friend of a friend's, baby's grandpa, along with the newborn himself.
I thought they made a dashing pair!

I think the baby is going to be safe in Grandads arms... Super family picture.
A seafront cyclist....

Thankyou Lem.
I like your snowy seafront image. The new lamps are so much more photogenic than the tatty old globeswe had before. I noticed the other evening, that from Battery Green Road the row of lanterns along the front looked really pretty extending in a curve towards Pakefield. Money well spent in my opinion. _________________

An image of my lad Xander all dressed up just before going in for his first set of exams in Ballroom dancing which he loves doing. He got his first two rosettes in Foxtrot & Samba.
Well done Xander .
