Nice pic Lem, with the contrasting blue and orange colourways it looks really cheerful despite being f f freezing today! Cool camper too, i've always wanted one.
With regard to the lens hood problem, maybe you could process them up using a vignette around the outside. Loads of my pics are artificially darknened in the corners this way.  _________________

Bah, guess who forgot Bridge Road was closed Still, at least I got a picture of the roadblock to show anyone who doesn't get down that way much what's going on.
Interestingly, I noticed it was being manned by community wardens. Now I think this is a good example of work they could do to free up a proper coppers day, it's when they start performing more important police tasks like public order at events that the whole community warden thing looks like a cop out (excuse the pun)
