This image of the two cranes at Yarmouths new outer harbour, was taken yesterday from the Harbour pier on the Goleston side.
I came up with the tittle due to the sizes being well out of perspective Smile.

For King & Contry. Reply with quote

This image is from the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival. It shows a couple of people dressed in their uniforms from the time, acting aboard the Grand Turk ship.
The ref to king is only that in there day it was a King on the throne not a Queen.
Thanks for looking Adam..

Thanks Lou.

This is an image that me an Xander played around with this morning before he went to school. We gave it an aged look Smile.

Took this shot of the old disused Light house on the cliffs at Old Hunstanton in Norfolk Last Saturday.
Me and the family where up enjoying the lovely bright and warm summers day on the coast collecting shells building sand castles, and collecting fossils from the base of the cliffs.
The Light house is now used as a holiday home and is let out to the holiday trade.

The light house was the first in the world to have a Parabolic Reflector fitted in 1776, And it was in constant use between 1665-1921.

This image was taken last Saturday whilst out and about with the family collecting fossils from the cliff and shells from the beach.
The cliffs at Old Hunstanton are well know for there fossils. The exposed cliff face produces many fossils, some lay just where they fall others need to be found .

The white top part (Ferriby Chalk Formation) of the cliff dates back to 99 million years ago (late cretaceous period/ Cenoamian stage).

The next layer the darker red line (Hunstanton Formation) dates back to arouind 101 millioin years ago (Early Cretaceous Period/ Albian stage).

The next layer the lighter red (Carstone Formation) dates bate to around 108 million years ago ( Early Cretaceous Period/ Albian stage)
